Lady Jamia L. Hunter, a native of Augusta, Georgia, is a social worker, mentor and motivational speaker. As the wife of Adolf B. Hunter, she serves as Co-Administrator of Beth-el Temple Ministries Church International Inc. A minister of the Gospel, Jamia has a positive influence in ministry. Jamia dedicated her heart to walking with God at an early age and accepted salvation in 1989 at age 22. She faithfully served her local church for 12 years serving the choir, usher board, youth ministry and church administration.

Upon relocating to Atlanta, Georgia Jamia received her ministerial license and certification as a Christian Counselor in 2001. She faithfully served in the membership outreach department and youth ministry as a member of World Changers Church International for 10 years until joining her husband in establishing Bethel Temple Ministries Church International.

Jamia’s dedication to helping others is evident through her lifestyle of service. She founded the Women’s Ministry, Ladies In Love With Christ, LLC at Beth-el Temple to give women a forum to become ladies walking in love; while assisting women in developing in their God given destiny. She frequently hosts prayer and Bible Study meetings, retreats, workshops and other events to empower women to develop in the love of God.

Jamia’s service is continually reflected in her community associations with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and the National Association of Black Social Workers which she maintains active membership.

With a Master’s degree in Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Jamia has a heart for supporting and restoring family relationships. She is a licensed therapist with over 20 years experience who is sought after to provide expertise in the arena of child and family psychotherapy.  Above all her accomplishments, she considers supporting her husband in ministry, parenting and sharing the love of God most significant. She firmly believes in living every day as a role model in demonstrating the amazing love of God for her family and others.

Lady Hunter says, "The greatest gift a man can give is to be true to himself, faithful to his God and share genuine love with others.  This will guarantee a genuine existence full of love, peace, hope and faith."
